第一節　面試官的“好”與“惡”（9）

Holds　people　accountable　for　their　actions　and　performance。　Challenges　individuals　openly　and　constructively　about　performance　problems。使人們承擔起應盡的職責。開誠佈公地、　建設性地質詢別人的工作表現。

Addresses　longer　term　performance　problems；　removing　poor　performers　from　positions　when　necessary。　Clearly　states　consequences；　e。g。　'if　you　don't　achieve　this　goal；　this　is　what　will　happen'　Provides　guidance　and　support　as　well　as　challenge　and　constructive　criticism。　指出長期的表現問題，　必要的時候做出開除的決定。清楚地表明後果，　比如，　“如果你完不成目標，　結果會是這樣的。”既給予指導和支援，　也提出建設性的質詢和批評。

Positive　indicators：　令面試官“好”的行為

*　Is　reluctant　to　address　poor　performance。　不好意思批評別人。（幾乎所有人都有這個“毛病”！）

*　Fails　to　make　clear　the　limits　of　acceptable　behaviour。　沒把行為準則說清楚。

*　Addresses　poor　performance　in　public。　公開批評別人。

*　Operates　predominantly　on　a　“do　as　I　say”　management　style。　家長制作風：　“按我說的辦，　否則要你好看”。

7。　Self…awareness　自知之明

Definition　這個能力是什麼？

Why　is　it　important？　這個能力為什麼重要？

Self…awareness　is　an　understanding　of　your　own　emotions　and　‘triggers’　and　how　they　impact　on　your　own　behaviour　and/or　the　behaviour　of　others。　It　is　also　about　understanding　your　own　strengths　and　limitations。自知之明指的是你明白自己會鬧情緒，　會有“情緒失控導火索”，　並且明白這些情緒如何左右你和他人的行為。自知之明也指的是，　你明白自己的長處，　也明白自己並非全能，　能力畢竟有限。

Understanding　oneself　enables　individuals　better　to　understand　and　relate　to　others。　自知，　才能知人。（備註：　當別人情緒失控，　你要明白，　每個人都受情緒的驅使，　你自己也是這樣。所以，　別太計較，　給他（她）一定時間“復原”。）
